How the Roblox Marketplace fee works
When you sell an item on the Roblox Marketplace, Roblox takes a 30% fee before crediting your account. You receive exactly 70% of the listed price, rounded down to the nearest whole Robux.
Forward calculation (sale price → net)
Given a listing price G and a keep rate R = 7,000 basis points (70%):
net = floor(G × 7,000 / 10,000)
For example, listing at 1,000 Robux: floor(1,000 × 0.70) = floor(700) = 700 Robux.
Reverse calculation (target net → minimum listing price)
To earn at least T Robux after fees, you need the smallest whole number listing price G such that floor(G × 0.70) ≥ T. The formula is:
G = ceil(T / 0.70) = ceil(T × 10,000 / 7,000)
For example, to receive 1,000 Robux: ceil(1,000 / 0.70) = ceil(1,428.57…) = 1,429 Robux. You can verify: floor(1,429 × 0.70) = floor(1,000.3) = 1,000 ✓ and floor(1,428 × 0.70) = floor(999.6) = 999 (one short).
All calculations use integer arithmetic and produce the same result as Roblox's own rounding behaviour.

Frequently asked questions
What is the Robux Marketplace fee?
Roblox charges a 30% fee on every item sold through the Marketplace and other in-experience purchases. You receive 70% of the listed price, rounded down to the nearest whole Robux.
Why does the calculator round down?
Roblox always floors the result to a whole number of Robux. For example, 70% of 1 Robux is 0.70, which floors to 0—so you need to list at least 2 Robux to receive 1.
How do I find the minimum price that gets me a specific amount?
Switch to "I want to receive" mode. Enter your target net amount and the calculator shows the lowest listing price that results in at least that many Robux after fees.
Can I use a different fee percentage?
Yes. Expand "Use a different fee" and enter any percentage from 0 to 100 with up to two decimal places. This is useful for group payouts, developer exchange scenarios, or hypothetical rates.
Who pays Roblox's fee on a CashBlox withdrawal?
CashBlox covers Roblox's Game Pass sale fee. The pass price is higher than your withdrawal amount so you receive the full amount after Roblox's fee. Use the price shown in Cashout.
Are these calculations exact?
The forward and reverse calculations match Roblox's documented 70% creator share and rounding behaviour. Roblox may apply different rates in specific programmes. Always confirm your final earnings in your Roblox account.
